Summer Baking

Any time of the year is a good time for baking. We enjoy trying out different gluten-free cookie recipes in the summer when dessert is best kept light and not too filling.

Recently we tried a double chocolate chocolate-chip cookie that is soft and delicious. Because of the almond flour, it is more filling than most cookies and definitely a treat to savor. It was well received by everyone who tried it.

When it’s summer we also enjoy having organic berries with whipped cream (made from fresh heavy cream) as well as crust-free cheesecake. What is your favorite summer time treat?
